The Problem
The Conservatory & Double Glazing classifications in the Yellow Pages are two of the most competitive in the Directory. We had tried the Yellow Pages before but had been disappointed with the results. We badly needed an advert with real impact, but also conveying an image of credibility.

The Solution
Impact was what we got. Both in the design and the response. The advert paid for itself within a month of the Directory publishing. In fact the response was so good we had a struggle to get round to all the enquiries to give estimates. I think we can live with that sort of problem though! The learning point for us was the fact that you simply have to have a well thought out and designed ad. This ad was exactly the same size as the previous years but the difference in response was amazing. The artwork design was a fraction of the cost of the advert itself but it was without doubt the reason for its success.

Two national DIY stores had recently opened in Stockport. We were very conscious of the need to maintain our brand awareness in the area.
